ADMISSION PROCEDURE

• • 1. The date for admission is announced in January
    2. Parents visit the school for information meet the principal and purchase a prospectus.
    3. The registration form is filled.
    4. Registration challan is issued.
    5. The date for the test is given.
    6. The test is conducted on the scheduled date.
    7. Results are announced in the same week.
    8. Syllabus / Book List and Fee Challan are issued along with the admission number.
    9. Students submit a copy of the paid fee challan to the office

ADMISSION TEST

The test is held in school on Mondays during the admission period 9:00 am onwards. Results are announced within a week after the Admission test . Applicants for Classes VI-VII and above are required to sit in a written test in four subjects: English, Urdu, Mathematics, and Science.

• • 1. To qualify for admission the overall pass percentage will be 50% while for classes IX, X and O’level it needs to be 60%. It’s mandatory for all candidates to pass in English.  The duration of each paper is normally 30 minutes.
    2. An Applicant should come properly prepared with the required stationery.

GENERAL RULES

• • 1. A candidate caught cheating during the admission test will not be eligible for admission.
    2. Admission tests/interviews will be conducted according to the given schedule by the Education Branch.
    3. The decision of the school regarding admission cannot be challenged in any way and shall be final.

AGE GROUP

The class for which a child will be tested is determined by the child’s age as of 31st March for the academic session starting in March / April. The chart below will help determine the class of the child:

Class VI                      11+

Class VII                     12+

Class VIII                   13+

Class IX / CI               14+

Class X / CII               15+

Class C III                  16+

• • 1. The DHA Senior School for Girls provides education to girls from classes – VI to X and to O’levels.
    2. The maximum number of students per section has never exceeded thirty thereby supporting a students’ centered approach.

Admission is not confirmed unless the following documents are produced:

• • 1. Original Birth Certificate
    2. Two passport size photographs (for the school identity card and personal file.)
    3. Report Card and School Leaving Certificate from the previous school (if any).
    4. Copy of receipt for payment of Admission Fee Bill and Allied Charges.

Admission formalities should be completed no later than the date given by the school. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of the admission and the vacancy being offered to the next candidate on the merit list.  Similarly, once the admission fee bill has been received by the parents/guardian, payment must be made on the date specified on the bill

DHA Senior School for Girl is a well reputed institute of DHA Education System Lahore. It provides students with healthy learning environment. It is located at 483/1 – G Block, Phase V, DHA Lahore. School is vastly spread on an area of 42 kanals.

DHA Senior School for Girls was established in April 1993, initially from classes Prep to class V in S – Block. In April1994, the School was upgraded to class IX. Science and Arts subjects were offered to the students. In April 1995, the Matric stream was introduced, while O’ level classes commenced in August 2000. The campus got new building in Phase V in August 2014.
