POS and RFP development for UCH, Lahore
The Steering committee for the revival of United Christian Hospital (UCH), constituted by the order of Supreme Court of Pakistan, invites applications from individual consultants for providing consultancy services to the Steering committee for the following:
• Development of a succinct and comprehensive package of services (POS) for UCH Lahore to be based on current needs and vision of the hospital;
• Development of recommendations and justifications on the horizontal or vertical packaging of services for inviting external entitles for investing in or partnering with UCH
• Development of detailed requests for proposal (RFPs) based on the P05, recommendations as in 2 above and UCH Business Plan approved by the Steering Committee.
• Comprehensive evaluation process and criteria to ensure technical, professional and financial transparency and selection of capable entities in line with the UCH Business Plan.
High quality work must be delivered in no more than 2 calendar months after award of contract.
• MBBS degree
• Post graduation in Hospital/Health Management (Master’s degree preferred)
• At least 15 years of progressively senior management experience in the health sector
• At least 5 years experience of working directly with Government Health
Department) Ministry but not necessarily as an employee (consultants and counterparts are equally acceptable)
• Should have a proven track record of working in the development sector for health in Pakistan- experience with international organizations on senior management positions will be highly preferred
• Significant hospital management experience related to quality/standards of health and hospital services
• Proven track record of working with corporate sector
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Demonstrated ability to have worked with teams on delivering complex projects meeting tight deadlines
• Demonstrated experience of working with Christian medical service in Pakistan
