Mandatory Experience:
- Minimum 5 years Post Qualification experience in the following areas:
- Pricing of retail and wholesale services in telecom (fixed-line / Mobile)
- Must have hands-on experience on Costing of shared media, colocation and backhaul services
- Must have hands-on experience regarding the determination of termination charges for fixed-line and mobile operators and handling of other interconnection issues.
- Accounting separation, financial/economic analysis
- Project management (project preparation and supervision)
- Management/hiring of international consultants
Skills/Competencies:
- Costing approaches in the telecommunication sector
- Advanced Excel, economic/financial / cost modeling and quantitative Skills
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills
- Exposure to telecom regulatory frameworks
- Business Intelligence and Project Management
- Preference will be given to candidates who have hands-on experience of costing in the telecom sector
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Costing of shared media, colocation and backhaul services, interconnection, DPLC, and IPLC services
- Market assessment of different segments of the telecom sector
- Consultations and determination of relevant telecom markets and significant market player operators
- Consultations on bandwidth and colocation prices
- Preparation of TORs/RFPs for the hiring of international consultants and supervision of the consultant’s work.
- Any other related work assigned by the Authority
