For Federal Medical & Dental College (FM&DC)
Eligibilities:
In accordance with “MBBS and BDS (Admissions) Regulations, 2018, as I General Criteria amended on 30th May 2019” of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, the basic
eligibility criteria for admissions are as follows:
a) The applicant has passed, obtaining minimum 70% (770/1100) marks, in Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination having minimum twelve years of education; OR
b) The applicant has passed, obtaining minimum 70% marks in aggregate, in an examination of a course from a foreign university or examining body or foreign education system with at-least three science subjects, that is, Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or Mathematics, and such course must have been duly certified by the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) as equivalent to Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or F.Sc. Or Intermediate level of Pakistan.
c) Only those candidates who have passed (MDCAT-2019), with minimum 60% (120/200) marks, are eligible to apply for admission against aforementioned categories of seats
SZABMU, UHS, LUMHS, BUMHS, KMU (MDCAT-2019) is mandatory for admission against provisional and regional quota in FM&DC, Islamabad.
Quota: • Applicants desirous for admission in FM&DC against quota needs to submit a document issued by concerned authority certifying that applicant is eligible against that quota e.g. domicile certificate, Federal Government Employees certificate, disability certificate, etc.
Merit Determination:__7 The merit will be prepared by the Merit Formula as per PMDC guidelines.
a) F.Sc (Pre-Medical)/HSSC/Equivalence 50%
B) Admission/Entry Test* 50%

Mandatory Documents required for Application of Admission:
(A) For Open Merit/Quota:
i. One (1) attested copy of Matriculation (SSC) Certificate or Result card issued by concerned BISE/Equivalence Certificate of 0-Level etc. issues by IBCC.
ii. One (1) attested copy of HSSC Pre-Medical result card issued by concerned BISE /Equivalence Certificate of A-Level/i 2” Grade etc. issued by IBCC.
iii. One (1) attested copy of transcript mark Sheet of A-level/12th Grade etc. (In case of foreign qualifications) issued by concerned foreign university/high school/board.
iv. One (1) attested copy of result card of Entrance Test SZABMU, UHS, LUMHS, BUMHS, KMU (MDCAT- 2019).
v. One (1) attested copy of Domicile Certificate of the candidate.
vi. One (1) attested copy of CNIC/B-Form of the candidate.
vii. One (1) attested copy of CNIC of Father/Guardian.
viii. One(1) recent color passport size photograph of the candidate.
ix. One (1) attested copy of Hifz-e-Quran Certificate issued by a registered Madrassa (only for candidates claiming to be Hifz-e-Quran).
(B) Additional Mandatory Documents for Quota:
i. One (1) attested copy of disability certificate issued by specialist working in Govt. Hospital describing the nature of disability (For seats of disabled persons only).
ii. One (1) attested copy of employment certificate issued by relevant Govt. institution (For seats of Federal Govt. Employees only).

How to Apply:
i. The applicants are required to visit SZABMU Website www.szabmu.edu.pk and click the link ‘Admissions in Public Sector Medical & Dental colleges’.
ii. Please register with your valid email address and CNIC.
iii. The email address will be subsequently used for activation of the Applicant’s account and further communication.
iv. After registration, you can log in to complete your application form. Please submit Online Application last date before 4:00 pm on Monday, 7” October 2019
v. Once an applicant is offered admission as per his/her merit and quota. It will be final and it will not be changed.
vi. The application once submitted cannot be changed by the applicant.
vii. After submission of application, the applicant can take print of the form and will sign on the specified places.
viii. The signature of Parent/Guardian in the Printed Application is mandatory. Any type of cutting or erasing on the application form will result in rejection of the Form.
ix. The application processing fee is Rs. 1000/- Applicants will create a Bank Draft/ Pay Order in favor of “Shaheed Zulfiqar AU Bhutto Medical University, Islamabad”(NTN# 9010030-4). Fee is non- refundable/non-adjustable.
Hard copies of Application Form along with Bank Draft/Pay Order and other mandatory
documents duly attested may please be sent through courier to the following address not
later than 9th October 2019 till 4:00 pm.
