Pakistan Army as Medical Cadet 2019
- Eligibility Conditions a. Qualification: Candidates studying in 4th / final year MBBS in Medical Colleges recognized by PM&DC will be eligible. b. Age. 20-26 years as on 31 Dec 2019. c. Gender: Male d. Marital Status: Unmarried e. Nationality: Citizen of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad Kashmir / Gilgit Baltistan. Upon final selection, candidates with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistani. f. Physical Standards (1) Minimum Height: 5’-4” or (162.5 cm).
(2) Weight: As per Body Mass Index. 2. Ineligibility Conditions a. A candidate is ineligible if he is:- (1) Twice rejected by ISSB for Post Graduate Entry. (2) Twice rejected by ISSB for Intermediate / Graduate (PMA/Graduate/Equivalent) and once rejected by ISSB or GHQ/NHQ/AHQ based selection boards.
(3) Once rejected by ISSB for Intermediate / Graduate (PMA/Graduate/Equivalent) and twice rejected by ISSB or GHQ / NHQ / AHQ based selection boards.
(4) Twice Not recommended for being’ Cadet by GHQ / AHQ / NHQ Selection Boards.
(5) Twice screened out by ISSB.
(6) Dismissed/removed/ debarred from Govt Services including Armed Forces.
(7) Convicted in a Court of Law for any heinous offense (to be ascertained by competent military authority).
(8) Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board (AMB).
(9) Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C. AMB cannot be requested. 2
(10) Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds.
(11) Withdrawn /discharged/resigned or purchase of commission from any Armed Forces Academy / Training Institution of Armed Forces on any ground.
(12) Tampering of academic certificates/forgery/ concealment to get undue advantage will make an applicant permanently ineligible for all types of commission in Armed Forces. 3. Registration and Preliminary Selection Procedure. Candidates can either register through the internet on website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk or by visiting nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (AS&RC). a. Registration at AS&RCs. The candidates may report at following Army Selection and Recruitment Centres for registration/allotment of roll no alongwith necessary documents mentioned in para 4 for completion of registration formalities.
The candidates must bring these documents on the date of the test as well:-

(4) AS&RC Peshawar
(5) AS&RC Quetta
(6) AS&RC Multan
(7) AS&RC Hyderabad

(9) AS&RC Gilgit
(10) AS&RC Faisalabad
(11) AS&RC Dera Ismail Khan
(12) AS&RC Khuzdar
(13) AS&RC Pano Aqil
- Registration Through Internet. A candidate can register on www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk Date and time of test shall be intimated on the internet, for which the individual should have an e-mail account. Candidates will report on exact date and time given for preliminary test on computerized roll no slip. Date once given will not be changed. Candidates will bring along documents mentioned in para
- Candidates must attain a working knowledge of computer as registration and test will be conducted on computers.
3 c. Schedule of Registration / Preliminary Tests. Registration and Preliminary Test including intelligence test will be held as per the following schedule:-
Registration 10 July 2019 to 31 Aug 2019 Preliminary Tests including Intelligence test at AS&RCs 04 Sep 2019 to 20 Sep 2019
- Physical Test: (1) 1.6 Km run – 8 ½ minutes (2) Push Ups – 15 repetition in 2 minutes (3) Sits Ups – 15 repetition in 2 minutes (4) Chin Ups – 3 repetition in 2 minutes (5) Ditch Crossing – 7’.4” x 7’.4” with a depth of 4 feet.
Preliminary Medical Test. Initial medical tests will be conducted at AS&RCs. f. Important Points. (1) An ‘M’ Cadet, after his enrolment under this Scheme, shall continue to study in the Medical College in which he is on rolls until the completion of his medical graduation and during that period he shall be subject to the Pakistan Army Act, 1952 and rules, regulations & orders made thereunder.
(2) On the successful completion of his medical education and due satisfaction of other requirements of the scheme, an ‘M’ Cadet will be commissioned in the AMC. g. Order of Merit Criteria (1) Result of previous professional exams (2) Intelligence / Personality Test (3) Interview 4. Documents Required at AS&RCs a. 2 x attested photocopies of educational certificates. b. 2 x attested photocopies of Computerized National Identity Card or Form ‘B’ issued by NADRA. c. 4 x attested passport size photographs.
4 d. Candidates will deposit pay order of Rs 500/- clearly indicating ‘Payable at any Branch in Pakistan’ in favor of Surgeon General/ DGMS (IS), Medical Directorate / DMS-1, GHQ Rawalpindi.
- Further Selection. Candidates shortlisted after registration and preliminary tests including intelligence test at AS&RCs will receive notice for interviews by the GHQ Selection Board through call up letters. Medical Fitness of candidates who are selected in the final interview shall be carried out at nearest CMHs. Final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of the candidate’s overall performance.
- Military Training. 22 x weeks, Basic Military Training (BMT) will be conducted at AMC S& C. 7. Bond. Finally selected and medically fit candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the Army for a minimum of six years, after qual of MBBS/ gt of commission in Army Medical Corps.
