LUMHS Admissions Spring 2020, Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshopro, Applications on prescribed forms are invited from MEDICAL GRADUATES for ADMISSIONS to Ph.D Programmes I M.D / M.S / FCPS-II / M.PHIL and DIPLOMA Courses for the Academic Session 2020 at LIAQUAT UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL & HEALTH SCIENCE, Jamshoro Ph.D PROGRAMMES (03 Years Duration)
1. Ph.D (Haematology) 2. Ph.D (Bio-Chemistry) 3. Ph.D (Pharmacology) 4. Ph.D (Molecular Biology)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO PH.D COURSES:
1) Those who have already completed their M.Phil or Equivalent Qualification (Candidate need to provide Equivalence from PMDC/HEC) can apply for Ph.D Programme provided they have=3.O CGPA in Semester System and 1st Division in Annual Examination. For Ph.D in Molecular Biology must have Working Experience of Molecular Biology Techniques.
2) Medical Graduate from one of the Recognized Medical University / College shown in schedules I & II of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council Act, will be eligible for the Admission.
3) Valid Registration with PMDC as Medical Practitioner will be required for all disciplines except Molecular Biology.
4) MBBS/BDS with One Year Resident House Job in a PMDC Recognized Teaching Institution and Valid Registration with PMDC as Medical Dental Practitioner.
5) Foreign Graduates will have to produce Equivalence of their degree from PMDC.
6) A subject / Discipline Test (Computer Based) will be conducted by Postgraduate Medical Centre, LUMHS Jamshoro.
7) Shortlisted Candidate will be interviewed by the Postgraduate Committee.
8) One Candidate can not apply for more than One Course.

1) Medical Graduate from one of the Recognized Medical University / College
shown in schedules I & II of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council Act.
2) Valid Registration with P.M.D.C as Medical Practitioner.
3) One Year Resident House Job in PMDC Recognized Institution.
4) FCPS-l Certificates for Admission to FCPS-ll.

NOTES:
(i) No Call Letters will be issued to the Candidates for Entry Test / Interviews I Selections, therefore the Candidates are advised to note the IMPORTANT DATES as given in the Advertisement.
The Postgraduate Selection Committee reserves the right to CANCEL any Admission. However, the Candidates shall
have the right to appeal the Competent Authority within Two Weeks period.
Inservice candidates will have to obtain NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from their EMPLOYER for applying in
Postgraduates Courses, However, they can send a Copy in Advance along with relevant Documents.
