Industries Commerce and Investment Department Jobs 2020 for Vice Chancellor, The Government of the Punjab Industries, Commerce and Investment Department invites applications from highly accomplished, qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Vice-Chancellor, Punjab University of Technology, Rasul.
Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant (of any gender) must not be more than 65 years of age on the last date fixed for submission of application has:
1.Academic Qualification:
a) Ph.D
b) MA/MSc/MS/M Phil
c) MA/MSc/MS/M Phil Ph.D. from one of the Top 500 Universities of the World – QS Ranking
2. Professional and Leadership Experience:
a) Experience in senior academic, research, management or leadership position in teaching/research institutions OR
Experience in senior leadership position (C Level Executives) in a large public and private sector organization such as CEO, CFO, COO, CEO or equivalent
b) Experience of working In an International organization exuding NCOs (teaching I research/management) at a relatively senior position (C Level Executive / Director or equivalent).
c) Demonstrated capability for mobilization of financial resources /grants from national/international agencies.
d) Demonstrated I documented experience of establishing new organization(s) or restructuring of an existing organization.
3. PublicatIon, Honors & Awards:
a) Research Archives, Books/Book Chapters. Registered Patents (Nationally flute nationality), Research and Policy Documents.
b) Research Awards I National I International Awards.
Terms & Conditions:
Tenure: Shall hold the office during the pleasure of Chancellor/Governor for a term not exceeding four years.
Pay & other pre-requisites, allowances: The pay package and other allowances are subject to the approval of Competent Authority.

Eligible candidates are requested to apply for the post on a plain paper. Those already in Government I Semi-Government service are required to apply through proper channel. The application should be accompanied by the following documents (three sets each):
• Certified copies of educational certificates/degrees/diplomas
• Detailed Curriculum Vitae of applicants dearly highlighting the elements of eligibility criteria and personal attributes.
• Ust of research publications along with one set of original research papers.
• Three recent passport size photographs.
Short Listing Criteria
• Qualification Marks 65 (20+30+ 15) only candidate receiving 65% I.e 42 marks or above will be shortlisted for interview
• Interview Marks 35
• Total Marks 100
Last Date for Receipt of Application:
