Disabled Person Offer, The need for special education becomes more crucial, significant, and relevant for a society where all the citizens are required to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country. It should emphasize designing such educational programs and curricula that can empower the individuals through overcoming the disadvantages related to the learning disabilities and help children and young generation in getting quality education useful for them to become productive persons for the country.
For providing opportunities to the persons who are interested to teach children with special education needs, support people with learning difficulties, emotional or behavioral problems, and physical disabilities, Disabled Person Offer the Department of Special Education at the University of Okara offers both undergraduate and master degree programs with all the basic skills, relevant knowledge and effective pedagogical techniques necessary to prepare future and current professionals to support the needs of people with learning disabilities.

BS Special Education Program Structure
This program is offered in Spring Semester 2020 in Self-Supporting. Each semester of the degree program consists of either the core courses from the discipline of special education or the compulsory courses designed for all undergraduate degree programs or the combination of both the courses.

Dr. Nadia Gilani has been part of the University of Education Okara Campus since December 2009 and later opted to join the University of Okara at the time of its establishment in April 2016. She earned her Ph.D. degree in Education from the University of Vienna, Austria, which is one of the prestigious and oldest universities in Europe. During her doctoral studies, she got HEC Partial Support Program Scholarship for completing her Ph.D. studies. She is an HEC approved Ph.D. supervisor and presently supervising Ph.D. and MPhil students’ dissertations and has already supervised master’s theses in her career. For academic and personal purposes, she got the opportunity of visiting Germany, France, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. She has a basic understanding of the German language. Currently, she is holding charge of the Department of Special Education and intends to strengthen the department by offering innovative activities for the students and faculty of the department.
