Jobs Descriptions:
Applications are invited for appointment to the post of Chairman (BS-20), Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC), Islamabad on contract basis for a period of 2 years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance after evaluation by the Performance Evaluation Committee.
Eligibility Criteria
The prospective candidates should have the following qualifications & experience:
a) 2nd Class Master’s degree preferably in any of the social sciences. Bachelor’s Degree in Law will be considered as an additional qualification.
b) Command of Urdu/English language.
C) Adequate knowledge of any provincial language and its culture.
d) 17 years’ experience in journalism/public relations/film industry in a responsible position.
e) Familiar with the Federal Government’s relevant rules/policies, especially regarding financial and human resource management.
f) Government servants meeting the eligibility criteria may also apply through proper channel.
Age Limit I
Maximum age limit as on closing date for receipt of applications is 45 years and age relaxation will be according to the appointment rules of CBFC issued vide S.R.O.429 (1)/89 dated 13th May 1989.
Responsibilities I
The selected candidate will have to perform duties as prescribed under the Motion Pictures OrdInance, 1979, and rules made thereunder
Selection Procedure I
The selection of the candidate will be made as per the procedure and guidelines contained in the relevant laws, rules, and orders of the Government of Pakistan
