Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Required for a General Insurance Company

A General Insurance Company is seeking to hire a dynamic and goal-oriented leader, who understands’ environmental and technological advancement, as CEO responsible for the overall affairs of the company. The successful candidate must be equipped to influence a great corporate culture, provide inspired leadership company-wide, make high-level decisions and achieve result oriented targets. The position will report to the Board of Directors and the appointment will be on a contract basis for an initial period of three years’ subject to extension based on a performance review by the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, improve and oversee implementation of initiatives at every level of the Company that aligns with the strategic plan and policies.

• Build strategic alliances and partnerships with relevant reputed organizations.

• Act as key and primary spokesperson for the Company.

• Develop the company’s culture and overall company vision.

• Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.

• Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.

• Work with the executive board to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.

• Identify and address problems and opportunities for the Company.

• Oversee the day-to-day corporate affairs of the company.

• Work closely with human resource department to ensure the Company is able to hire, motivate and retain highly skilled resource.

Education, Skills & Experience:

• Academic qualification of Bachelor’s or equivalent recognized by HEC or be an ACII and/or be a fellow of the lnstitute/ Society of Actuaries or equivalent qualification as recognized by the Pakistan society of Actuaries.

• Minimum 10 years of professional working experience preferably in the general insurance industry.

• Excellent leadership, team building, analytical strategic thinking, decision making, communication & inter-personal skills with out-of-box-orientation.

• Strategic thinking with ability to identify emerging issues, analyze potential impacts and translate ideas and insights into viable recommendations for actions.

• Highly organized and able to multi-track and oversee multiple projects and competing priorities without compromising accuracy or efficiency.

• Must be a person of integrity and sound financial track record with professional presence with ability to develop strong working relationships.
