Responsibilities and Duties
Keep meticulous records of all purchases.
RFQ/tender pack preparation and contract drafting assistance (and its legal vetting, where required).
Issuing an RFP and receiving quotes from interested bidders.
Safekeeping and tracking of bid bonds and quotations.
Bid bonds are distributed to bidders in accordance with established procedures.
Price benchmarking and market research assistance
Keep meticulous records of all purchases (both soft and in hard form)
Work with the relevant function to ensure that GRNs, SANs, and other vendor payments are issued on time.
Work with the end-user function and the regional finance team to ensure that Performance Guarantees are released to suppliers on time.
Assist in getting signatures on procurement documents from appropriate authorities in accordance with established procedures.
