HEC Announcement About CGI Scholarships 2023

The Higher Education Commission HEC invites applications from Pakistani/AJK nationals for the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Post-graduate Scholarship Program for the academic year 2023. Scholarships are available for a Master’s Degree (18 years of education) in the disciplines of study listed below.

Biological Sciences in Practice

Environmental Protection

Toxicology of the Environment

Science of Chemistry

The subject scholarship program is only nominated by the Higher Education Commission HEC. CGI will make final grants based on academic merit, candidate potential, and the expected impact of the work on Pakistan’s growth.

Eligibility Criteria

 Must be a Pakistani or an AJK national.

As of the deadline, you must be under the age of 30.

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of schooling) in one of the following fields: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences, Medicine, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Sciences with a minimum CGPA of 2.75/4.

Have prior experience with scientific laboratory research.

TOEFL or IELTS scores are required to demonstrate English ability.

How to Apply?

Eligible candidates must apply through the HEC Scholarship Portal with all relevant papers. A list of required documents is provided below.

All academic degrees and transcripts must be attested.

two passport-sized photos

three recommendation letters (academic or professional)

English language competency certificate, preferably TOEFL or IELTS

Certificate of Medical Fitness

Employer’s letter of authorization (in case of employment)

One copy of the HEC application form, spiral-bound separately.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit two sets of the above-mentioned documents to the HEC at a later date, each with its own CGI Application form.
