Procedure

Pakistan Cadet College Murree Admission is by test and interview and open to candidates from all parts of Pakistan and abroad. Admission is normally made at the beginning of the academic year. The number of cadets to be admitted depends entirely on the number of vacancies available.

Admission is allowed in all classes from V to IX & XI on the basis of written tests and interviews. Applications for admission are received on prescribed registration forms attached with prospectus, available from the college office at the sunny bank, Murree, or the Admission / Camp office Islamabad, on payment of Rs.1000/-. ENTRY TESTS are held on the requisite academic standard of the class in which admission is sought. The competent authority then announces centers for entry test (these centers are normally in all capital cities of Provinces of Pakistan). Medical Examination is compulsory at the time of admission.

Examination Center for Pakistan Cadet College Murree

1. The exact date, time, and place of the examination will be communicated in writing to the candidates. The examination will be held at the following centers, RAWALPINDI / ISLAMABAD, LAHORE, QUETTA, PESHAWAR, MULTAN, AND KARACHI.
2. In the case is not feasible to hold the entrance examination and interview at any of the centers mentioned above, the candidate that center will be asked to appear at another nearest center. Candidates can also request the change of centers if required.
3. Selection is made on the basis of merit. However, results are kept confidential. The only selected candidate will be informed by post.

MEDICAL TEST

The candidate must be in good mental and physical health. They are required to produce a medical fitness Performa duly filled in by a civil surgeon / Medical officer of the nearest Military / Government Hospital or a Registered Medical Practitioner.

ADMISSION TO INTERMEDIATE CLASSES

Promotion from secondary to intermediate classes is not automatic. Students who appear in the secondary school certificate examination will have to acquire at least 60% marks in the matric exam and if their overall conduct has been satisfactory.

For admission to any class, a candidate must either be studying in that class or must have passed the last lower class at the time of admission. Age limits as of 1st April of the year of the admission are as under:-

Reception

We wish to accord a warm welcome to fresh arrivals and show due courtesy to parents and visitors. Arrival and Reception procedure is outlined as under:

1. The fresh arrivals will be directed by the Gate Guard (after entering necessary details in the register) to park the car in the Parking area and the parents along with the Pakistan Cadet College Murree will walk to the reception room, where the Duty Officer who will be keeping a list of all the reporting Cadets along with the record of their designated accommodation/house.
2. The Senior House Master/Duty Officer will collect the call letter and direct the Duty Bearer to take the baggage etc of the Pakistan Cadet College Murree to his designated House, while the admission formalities are completed by the Office Superintendent (OS). The parents will be offered water/tea etc.
3. After the admission formalities, the parents along with the Cadets are conducted by the House Bearer to the designated House / Room, where all the belongings of the Pakistan Cadet College Murree shall be arranged. The cadets call on the House Master where they will be interviewed. The House Bearer will then lead the cadet to the barbershop and then take him to the parents in the reception room.
4. Finally, the parents will meet the Principal and then leave.

Cadet Withdrawal

• In case of withdraw by the parents or guardians, the Pakistan Cadet College Murreewill have to pay the full fee for the term in which he is withdrawn. Fee once paid cannot be refundable in any case. There is no provision of part adjustment/remission of the amount billed, even if the cadet remains on the college rolls for a part of the term.
• In case of willful or withdrawal after joining, dues paid for the term shall NOT be refunded in any shape
