VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Applications are invited for the post of MANAGER- FACILITIES MANAGEMENT at the Lady Reading Hospital MTI.
Qualifications / Experience required;
Candidate must have a Bachelor or higher degree in Management or Environmental Sciences or equivalent degree from a recognized university, with at least 6 years’ experience in a managerial/ administrative role in the service industry related to facilities management. Preference will be given to Candidates with experience in the hospitality industry or hospital. Additional requirements are an ability to do strategic planning for the areas of Food & Beverages, Laundry, housekeeping, Pest Control, Horticulture, Waste Management, and Housing.
Main Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be mainly responsible and accountable for Housekeeping, ensuring a clean hygienic environment in the hospital, Laundry. Horticulture, Waste Management, Pest Control, and building maintenance. He will ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and protocols in the Department. He will also prepare and manage the annual budget for the Department.
