Evaluate modifications and new project engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for compliance with fire codes, standards, and regulations.
. Perform fire risk assessments, HAZOPs, inspections, and investigations.
. Develop Safety strategies for the plant, buildings and other structures.
. Install and maintain firefighting systems and equipment, as per applicable standards e.g.;
NFPA. Conduct inspections test and audits to verify the readiness of fire protection and firefighting
equipment and vehicles.
. Plan and coordinate fire-fighter training programs.
. Deliver lectures and presentations on ERT training; like fire, rescue and first aid.
. Conduct periodic mock drills, live-fire & rescue training, at the site.
. Provide fire-related expertise for life safety and fire protection engineering.
. Plan, organize and direct activities, related to emergency operations.
. Develop and maintain pre-fire and emergency response plans.
The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Science, Technology or Engineering
and must have certification of NVQ Level 3/IOSH/Nebosh IFC, with 45 years of experience in
Safety Management & Training and Control.
